the house on second base

Based on an auto-ethnographic project about Tiffany's experiences with Dodger Stadium, Tiffany crafted a script, designed the film sets and characters, storyboarded the film and delved into voice recording, all in preparation for animating her puppets on camera. Emerging out of her scenic design work for theater, Tiffany utilizes traditional theatrical design conventions and merges them with techniques from cinema and the digital world. The House on Second Base showcases traditional approaches to model-making, puppet fabrication, animation and traditional sculpting methods, as well as incorporating 3D drafting, digital painting, 3D printing, and video compositing. This project best exemplifies the wide range of skills Tiffany has acquired and applied to her work as a designer and storyteller.
